Recognised as one of the great varietals of the Hunter Valley this meticulously crafted wine delivers the forward presentation of citrus that typifies classic Hunter Semillon. Lemon and lime drive the palate whilst rounded fruit and steely minerality structure an elegant , lingering finish. Hints of toastiness together with a pronounced acid backbone are testament for this wines potential for long term cellaring.
Hand-picked, this Semillon comes from 25 year old, north-south facing, dry farmed vines that are managed using traditional viticultural methods including tilling between rows to maximise moisture content and minimise competition from weeds.
