Whole bunch pressing of this Single Vineyard Semillon has delivered a softer style wine with a distinct aroma of floral topnotes with a hint of musk melon. On the palate generous fruit leads to a classic grapefruit albido finish that promises to age well.
Experience with the Hunters’ high Summer temperatures has led us to develop the irrigated vines in this north-south facing block with minimal canopy management as a means of providing maximum protection for the fruit. Whilst year round hard work and vigilant hands on viticultural practices have partnered with the vines to enable us once again to push the boundaries of winemaking to extract the best possible flavours from this generous vineyard.
