Made predominantly from peppery Coonawarra Shiraz this alluring sweet red wine has been a huge hit with its delicious combination of attractive cool climate Shiraz aromas and flavours, soft tannins and natural sweetness. Enjoy lightly chilled!
Vivo Red is a wine ideal with food especially with wood fired pepperoni pizza, tiramisu & chocolate.
The grapes for the base wine were harvested in Coonawarra and underwent fermentation in controlled temp, stainless steel vats. A short period of maturation in mainly old oak barrels added a touch of elegance, rather than dominant oak flavours. The wine was ultimately blended here at Oakvale and sweetened before bottling.
