Oakvale Wines, nestled in Pokolbin beneath the majestic Brokenback Ranges, offers a serene escape surrounded by gardens and an historic vineyard dating back to before Federation.

This unique winery provides an opportunity to appreciate rare, delicate organic wines.

Relax under garden umbrellas while savoring handcrafted wines, immersing yourself in a classic Hunter Valley rural setting like no other.

 

Please note that due to the intimate nature of our tasting space, we are unable to accommodate groups over 12 persons
nor are we able to split larger groups over 2 tables

We also do not accept Hens or Bucks parties

 

General Tasting

Visit us at our cellar door, and let our dedicated team help you explore and sample our range of hand-crafted, minimal intervention wines. Tastings are $10 per person. Proceeds from our general tastings go towards the production of wine for Meals on Wheels. To date, we have donated over 65,000 piccolo bottles to MOW in the Hunter Valley.

Comparisons Tasting

Relax and enjoy multiple side by side tastings of differing ranges and styles. From bubbles, fruit driven whites, oaked wines, light reds, full bodied reds to sweets, as well as a sneaky look at some of our Limited Release wines. We have something for everyone in this lavish tasting.

Member Tasting

Being a member at Oakvale sure has it’s perks. When visiting us at cellar door, you receive a complimentary Binnorie Dairy cheese plate for yourself plus one guest, as well as the chance to sample our range of Certified Organic, Single Vineyard and Limited Release Wines. Additionally, your guests also receive a discount on any wines purchased on the day. What’s not to love?

Know what you like and just want to chill out and enjoy a few glasses of wine? Reserve a table to enjoy our amazing wines with our scenic views amongst our historical vineyards.
